This Privacy Policy describes how MeyorAI ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Meyor AI mobile and web application.
Account information: When you sign in, we collect your email address via Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In or email/password).
Food and nutrition data: Meal entries you log, including food names, calorie and macro values, serving sizes, and optional food photos (stored as thumbnails).
Water intake data: Daily water consumption logs you add manually.
Body metrics: Weight and goal data you enter in your profile.
All data is used solely to provide the app's features — tracking your nutrition, showing history, and personalizing your daily calorie goals. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
When you upload a food photo, the image is sent to the Google Gemini AI API for food recognition and nutritional analysis. The image is processed transiently and is not stored by us after analysis. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles data sent to its APIs.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database provided by Google. Data is associated with your user account and protected by Firebase's security rules. Please refer to Firebase's Privacy Policy for details.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties, except for the service providers listed above (Google Firebase, Google Gemini AI) which are necessary to operate the app.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. You can also delete individual meal entries directly within the app.
Meyor AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
